Length averages 24 to 28”


An Absolutely Gorgeous type of Wood that when cleaned well, produces an iridescent color much like that of a Tiger Eye Stone. However, when cut into slices like a loaf of bread, produces pieces that resembles Butterfly wings. The Butterfly Bush produces wood that can grow in excess of 18” in diameter. Unfortunately it only grows in certain parts of the Salt Fork of the Brazos, so every piece has to be individually gathered by hand.
